This site links to a few external pages, such as GS1 and the licences of the libraries in use. Their operators alone are responsible for that content. Nothing unlawful was apparent there at the time the links were added.
Liability for use
Barvio is provided free of charge and without any warranty. No assurance is given that a generated code will scan under your conditions.
The software check grades a file. It knows neither your printer nor your paper nor your scanner, and it is not a verification to ISO/IEC 15416. Before any larger print run, print one sheet as a proof and scan it with the device that will be used later. If you skip that test, the responsibility is yours alone.
Liability for damage arising from use, in particular for an unusable print run, lost profit or consequential loss, is excluded. Excepted from this exclusion are intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and claims under the German Product Liability Act. German law does not permit an exclusion to go further; it would otherwise be void in its entirety.
Copyright
The codes and labels you create are yours. Barvio claims no rights to them and adds no watermark. The shape library comes from Google's Material Symbols under the Apache Licence 2.0, details in NOTICE.md.
